Echoes of the Past: A Witcher 3 Walkthrough

Introduction

Echoes of the Past is a main quest in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt that takes place after the quest The King is Dead -- Long Live the King. Geralt and Yennefer must recover the Mask of Uroboros from Ermion's laboratory in Skellige.

Objectives

1. Talk to Yennefer.
2. Find the Mask of Uroboros.
3. Return to Yennefer with the mask.

Walkthrough

To begin the quest, speak to Yennefer in her room at Kaer Trolde. She will tell you that she needs the Mask of Uroboros to complete a ritual. The mask is located in Ermion's laboratory, which is on the island of Undvik. You'll find Ermion in his lab, and the mask is in a chest just behind him.

Return to Yennefer with the mask, and she will begin the ritual. Once the ritual is complete, Geralt will have a vision of the past. In the vision, he sees Ciri being taken by the Wild Hunt, but Ciri is now an adult, and she is fighting back against the Wild Hunt.

Tips

• Be sure to talk to Yennefer before you leave Kaer Trolde. She will give you some important information about the quest.
• The Mask of Uroboros is located in a chest in Ermion's laboratory. The laboratory is on the island of Undvik.
• Once you have the mask, return to Yennefer at Kaer Trolde. She will begin the ritual.
• During the ritual, Geralt will have a vision of the past. In the vision, Ciri is being taken by the Wild Hunt. She is fighting back against them.
